Mango Unified Command Center
The Mango Administration center has been reimagined into one complete and powerful unified HTML5 user interface for administrators, power users and basic users. The new web-based application is fast, mobile friendly, and sports a redesigned workflow based on customer feedback from 3.0. The interface allows for projects to be designed, set up, and deployed in both small and large systems faster and easier than ever. Additionally, significant enhancements have been made to the Mango Rapid Development environment which allows for faster updating of user dashboards as well as debugging.
User Management
User management has been rethought to meet the needs of enterprises large and small. A new Permission and Role structure allows for thousands of unique roles to exist. Setting up users and assigning them to roles is now streamlined to allow onboarding and maintenance to be a quick and easy experience. With this new system we have also introduced the concept of role inheritance as well as the use of logical expressions to meet the needs of large enterprises. Additionally, permissions have been enhanced to allow for a more refined role structure.
Mango to Scale
A huge array of improvements was introduced to Tagging, event detectors, as well as the forementioned user management system which allows Mango v4 to be easily deployed with hundreds of thousands of data points in a single system. One site or thousands, Mango’s distributed architecture allows for management at scale without the worry of hitting limits. Mango v4 is already deployed around the globe by multinational enterprise organizations at this scale and has proven to be reliable and robust across various verticals.
