What's the difference between the free version and the enterprise trial?

The free version is unlimited in time but capped at 300 data points, while the enterprise trial gives you the full feature set for 60 days. The free version includes all protocol drivers, the dashboard designer, and REST API access. The enterprise trial unlocks unlimited data points, multi-site management, advanced alarming, and the complete enterprise capabilities.

Should I start with Mango v5 or v4?

Start with Mango v5 for new deployments. It includes a PostgreSQL-backed historian with 100x faster query performance, a modernized API, and the latest dashboard designer. Mango v4 is the right choice only if you have an existing deployment and need long-term stability without a migration.

Which databases does Mango support?

Mango supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, ClickHouse, and TimescaleDB. Mango v5 uses PostgreSQL as its primary database, with the others available through Docker Compose templates. Mango v4 also supports an embedded H2 database for lightweight or evaluation deployments.

How do I deploy Mango with Docker?

Pull the official image from ghcr.io/radixiot/mango, choose a Docker Compose template for your preferred database, and run docker compose up. Each template includes pre-configured networking, persistent volumes, health checks, and environment variables. Both amd64 and arm64 architectures are supported.

Is the REST API included with every deployment?

Yes. Every Mango installation includes the full REST API with OpenAPI 3.1 documentation and an interactive Swagger UI. There is no separate license or add-on required.

What happens when my enterprise trial expires?

Your Mango instance reverts to the free version with 300 data points, and no data is lost. You can purchase an enterprise license at any time to restore full functionality, or contact sales to extend your trial.
